April 5, 2020 || Daily Thought & Prayer

Thought Blazing fires of reddish hew Streaking through the grey of sky Seen by creatures since the dawn Makes us ponder why we’re born? Darkest clouds and blackest mood Some suffering for a lack of food We, hopeless in our helplessness While others cry out for the dead Relief will come as it always does Like sun rays as they filter through Replacing and displacing night With artist’s subtle warmth and light Prayer O Lord thank you for the gift of pain and suffering; without it how can I truly feel Your artistry. May every being have the knowledge that dispels darkness
