Tones, scales, music themes

Soul obeys not when it sings

Voice of God beauty compose

Lines etched face as tears arose

Rising joy like eagle’s spread

From lowest gut to crest of head

Breathless surging heart possess?

Who knows or cares for fine finesse?

Curving hands around Thy face

No earth no time or inch of space

Merge in peace as love replete

Not start or end repose complete

I fear not ever reaper’s call

Fear itself makes fearful fall

Many times death’s edge came

Lion’s heart made me remain

Maestro’s notes symphonic loud

Denied embalming in a shroud

Energy heightened play full range

Of music that to ears sound strange

O Lord you are with me in joy and sorrow, your angels make crooked paths straight. Take me wherever you want and whenever you want when you are done. I am at your feet and take refuge in Thee, my all, my love, myself.
