Can oil and water ever mix?

Or gold appear as dross?

Intermingling things confuse

When two flavours both infuse

Nurturing trees of plantains lush.

Bananas are appealing relished

We know whatever food will suit

Selecting and not discarding fruit

If we can know that we are light

Disassociating from mixed stress

Darkness by itself will fall

With enjoyer witnessing it all.

O Lord grant me the grace of discernment that I may stand aside as the constant witness, knower, thinker. Grant me the detachment to know that I am made in thy image and likeness and one with thee at blissful base.
