Through reflection’s mirror past

Regretful mud dug and cast

No enduring values gained

In ruminations of dirt stained

Through wispy mist short sighted see

Memories scanned so wistfully

And morn brings beauty opaque

For calm and good to overtake

Through rain or shine legs walk

Regardless of what impressions stalk

Good lifts revealed to circumvent

The traps that fruits bring to account

Through probing limbs at every stage

Surroundings better to engage

For knowledge wealth and aptitude

Real treasure contentment, fortitude

O infinite peace and patient presence flood my disturbed mind with thee. Displace every wistful regret of the past and replace it with thy glorious light and beauty. Grant that my mind ever delights in thee and as I call on thee, let me too respond to thy call.
